Mechanism of Action:
- Sofosbuvir:

- It works by being converted into its active form (triphosphate) inside the liver cells. This active form then competes with the natural building blocks (nucleotides) required for the replication of the HCV RNA.
- When the active form of sofosbuvir is incorporated into the growing HCV RNA chain, it causes premature termination of the chain, effectively inhibiting the ability of the virus to replicate and produce new copies of itself.
- Ledipasvir:
- Ledipasvir is an inhibitor of the HCV NS5A protein, which plays a crucial role in the replication process of the hepatitis C virus.
