What Lansoprazole & Domperidone Capsules ?

Lansoprazole:
- Lansoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It reduces the production of stomach acid by blocking the enzyme in the stomach wall that produces acid. This can be helpful in treating conditions where excess stomach acid is produced, like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), peptic ulcer disease, and other acid-related conditions.
Domperidone:
- Domperidone is a medication that promotes gastric motility (movement of the stomach and intestines) and prevents nausea and vomiting. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger in the brain (dopamine) that triggers feelings of nausea and vomiting

Treatment of Acid Reflux: It is primarily used to treat conditions where the stomach produces too much acid, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), which is a chronic condition where acid from the stomach backs up into the esophagus.
Stomach Ulcers: Lansoprazole can also be used to treat stomach and duodenal ulcers.
Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: This is a rare condition where the stomach produces too much acid. Lansoprazole is used to manage this condition.
Relief of Nausea and Vomiting: It is used to relieve nausea and vomiting caused by various conditions, including chemotherapy, surgery, migraine, or certain medications.
Gastroparesis: This is a condition where the stomach empties too slowly. Domperidone can help improve stomach emptying and reduce symptoms like nausea, vomiting, and bloating.
