What is Etizolam Tablets ?
Etizolam is a medication that belongs to the thienodiazepine class of drugs. It’s known for its anxiolytic (anti-anxiety), sedative, and muscle relaxant properties. Etizolam is chemically different from benzodiazepines, but it acts on the same receptors in the brain, specifically the gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptors.
Etizolam Tablets Uses
- Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD): Etizolam is often prescribed to individuals suffering from GAD, a condition characterized by excessive and uncontrollable worry about everyday things.

Etizolam Tablets – Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology
