What is Aceclofenac Injection ?

Aceclofenac Injection – Mechanism of Action and Pharmacology
The mechanism of action of Aceclofenac is similar to other NSAIDs. It works by inhibiting an enzyme called cyclooxygenase (COX). There are two isoforms of this enzyme, COX-1 and COX-2. COX-1 is involved in maintaining normal physiological functions, such as protecting the stomach lining and regulating blood flow to the kidneys. COX-2, on the other hand, is induced during inflammation and is primarily responsible for generating prostaglandins that mediate pain, inflammation, and fever.
Aceclofenac selectively inhibits COX-2 more than COX-1, which means it primarily targets the inflammation-causing enzyme. This helps to reduce pain, inflammation, and fever associated with various conditions.
Aceclofenac Injection – Side-effect
